RESOLUTION NO. 13,581
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., FOR THE
WINDAMERE AND WALPOLE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for Windamere and Walpole Drain Improvements, Bid #2012 -277;
and,
WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
specifications in the amount of One Hundred Forty Thousand, Nine Hundred Three and 40/100 Dollars
($140,903.40); One Hundred Twenty -Eight Thousand, Ninety -Four Dollars ($128,094.00) plus 10%
contingencies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township Builders,
Inc., for Windamere and Walpole Drainage Improvements in the amount of One Hundred Forty
Thousand, Nine Hundred Three and 40/100 Dollars ($140,903.40); being One Hundred Twenty -Eight
Thousand, Ninety -Four Dollars ($128,094.00) plus 10% contingencies.
Section 2. Funding for this project is available from the 2012 % -Cent Capital Sales Tax Project
Funds.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
