10904ORDINANCE NO. 10,904 AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN ANNEX NO. 1 TO SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 130 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, more than a majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in the territory annexed to Sewer Improvement District No. 1302 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, under Ordinance No. 10.786 , and known as Annex No. 1 to said District, said annexation being made for the purpose of constructing a sanitary sewer collection system to serve the inhabitants of the area embraced within said Annex No. 1 and to connect said system with the basic sewer system of said Improvement District and of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, have petitioned the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock for the construc- tion of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said Annex No. 1 according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel of real property situated in Annex No. 1 to said District equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and +THEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is FORTY - r IVL THOUSAND DOLLA tS ($45,,000.00): NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of real property in Annex No. 1 to said District be assessed accord- ing to the assessment list for Annex No. 1 to said Improvement District as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that five percentum (5j) of the assessment of each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be collected by the County Collector with the first installment of general taxes becoming due on the third Monday in February, i960, and annually there- after with the first installment of general taxes until the whole �- 8 of said local assessment shall be paid; provided, however, the annual assessment of benefits aforesaid may, at the election of the taxpayer, be paid in quarterly installments along with the quarterly installments of ad valorem taxes.
