AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF AMERICAN LaFRANCE
COMPANY ON THE PURCHASE OF 5500 FEUT FIRE HOSE FOR THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY
EIGHT AND 10 /100 DOLLARS ($7,488.10) FROM THE FIRE STATION
IMPROVEMENT FUND THEREFOR; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY
WARRANTS THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, there has been proper legal advertisement for bids
for the purchase by the City of 5500 feet of Fire Hose for the
Fire Department of the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, the bid of American LaFrance Company of Seven Thousand
Four Hundred Eighty Eight and 10 /100 Dollars ($7,488.10) is the low
Lid submitted therefor,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of American LaFrance Company for 5500 feet
of Fire Hose for the Fire Department in the amount of Seven Thousand
Four Hundred Eighty Eight and 10 /100 Dollars ($7,488.10) is hereby
accepted.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the Fire Station
Improvement Fund the sum of Seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Eight
and 10 /100 Dollars ($7,488.10) payable to American LaFrance Company.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants in payment
thereof.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
