AN ORDINANCE CREATING A FUND FOR THE PAYMENT OF MEDICAL,
HOSPITAL, NURSING AND SURGICAL EXPENSES OF KATHERINE
LUMPKIN; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1,000.00) TO THE SAID FUND; AUTHORIZING AND- DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY SUCH SUMS AT SUCH TIMES AND TO
SUCH PERSONS, FIRMS OR CORPORATIONS AS HE MAY DEEM WISE,
EXPEDIENT AND IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE SAID KATHERINE
LUMPI,IN; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY WARRANTS IN
CONFORMITY HEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established a fund
for the payment of medical, hospital, nursing and surgical ex-
penses of Katherine Lumpkin.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of One
Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to the Fund created in Section 1
hereinabove.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to pay such sums at such times and to such persons, firms or
corporations as he may deem wise, expedient and in the best
interest of the said Katherine Lumpkin.
SECTION 4. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants
in conformity with Section 3 hereof.
SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
