AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF
THE SEVEM LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 133 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority of two thirds in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Sewer
Improvement District No. 133 of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the
pwrpose of constructing within the District a sanitary sewer collection system i
to connect with the basic sanitary sewer system of the City of Little Rock,
1. Arkansas, as set out in the petition, have petitioned the City Boyd of
Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said improvement,
. and that the cost thereof be assessed upon the real property of said
District according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot, block and
parcel of real property situated in said District equal or exceed the local
assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $18,000; now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the said several lots, blocks and parcels of real
property in said Sewer Improvement District No. 133 of Little Rock, Arkansas,
be assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement district
as the same now remains or may hereafter be changed in the office of the City
Clerk, and that six and two - thirds per centum (6 2/3%) of the assessment of
each of said lots, blocks and parcels shall be collected by the County Col-
lector with the first installment of the general taxes becoming due in 1960,
and six and two- thirds per centum (6 2/3%) of the assessment shall be col-
lected annually thereafter with the first installment of the general taxes
until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid.
.SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
