AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND
SOUTH THROUGH BLOCK 22, LINCOLN PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock on the 30th day of June , 19593,
requesting the City of Little Rock to vacate and abandon all of the
alley running north and south through Block 22, Lincoln Park Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the
plat of said addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 ,
Page 63 , in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas;
and
WHEREAS, ai ":ter due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons
desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the
a11ey hereinabove described has been dedicated to the public use as
an alley, as herein described; that said alley has not been actually
used by the public as an alley for a period of five (5) years last
past since the filing of this petition; that all of the owners of
property abutting upon said alley have filed with the Board of Direc-
tors their written consent to such closing and abandonment; and that
the public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the
abandonment and closing of said alley; and
WHEREAS, there is no public utility easements located or situated
in said alley except that the North 150 feet of said alley should be
reserved as a public drainage easement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates, closes and abandons all its rights, together with the rights
of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
The alley running North and South through Block 22,
LINCOLN PARK ADDITION to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas,

subject, however, to a public drainage easement of the North 150 feet
of said alley which is hereby reserved to the public.
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance,duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of said Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
