AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 55 C (3) b of Ordinance NO. 10,382,
SAME BEING THE BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR
THE YEAR 1959, BY APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWELVE THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED AND N01100 DOLLARS ($12,500.00) TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 136.3.2
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAVING AND RESURFACING CERTAIN STREETS NAMED
HEREIN; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Twelve Thousand
Five Hundred and No /100 Dollars ($12,500.00)to Account Number 136.3.2
which was created by Section 55 C (3) b of Ordinance No. 10,832, same
being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the year
1959, for the purpose of paving and resurfacing the following streets
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
A. East 6th from Gregg to Picron.
B. Bond Street from Oth to 9th.
C. Arch Street from Markham to 10th.
D. Cross Street from 5th to 9th.
SECTION 2. It has been determined that the physical condition of
the surface of that portion of the streets designated in Section 1
herein creates a condition which is detrimental to the public peace,
health and safety; that this ordinance will correct the said situation;
now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health
and safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas-
sage and approval; and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
