ANORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 A (1) AND SECTION 8 B (2) AND (4)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 102882, SAME BEING THE BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1959, BY PROVIDING FOR THE EM-
PLOYMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY AND SECRETARY
IN THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 8 A (1) of Ordinance No. 10,882, same being
the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the year 1959,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
' "SECTION 8. ATTORNEY

SECTION 2. Section 8 B (2) and (4) of Ordinance No. 10,882, same
being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the year 1959,
is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 3. It has been determined that there is an immediate need
for an additional Assistant City Attorney and Secretary in the City
Attorney's Office because of the increased work now being performed
by said Office, and that this Ordinance will accomplish the same; there-
fore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being
necessary for the preservation of public peace, health andsafety shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval;
and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here-
by repealed.
