AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7, SUB - SECTION 1, OF ORDINANCE
NO. 10,973, SAME BEING:
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING A BOARD OF PLUMBING SUPERVISION;
PROVIDING FOR THE SUPERVISION, REGULATION AND THE IN-
SPECTION OF PLUMBING AND GAS FITTING, AND THE LICENSING
AND REGISTRATION OF PLUMBERS AND GAS FITTERS; ADOPTING
THE STATE PLUMBING CODE AND THE SOUTHERN STANDARD GAS
CODE; REPEALING ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES . " ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 7, Sub - section 1 of Ordinance No. 10,973 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 7. PERMITS
(1) PERMIT REQUIRED - PLUMBING AND GAS: No plumbing or drain-
age piping, gas piping or the installation of or the replacement
of, plumbing or gas appliance, fixtures, equipment or materials
shall be done in any building or propert in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, without applying for and obtaining permit to do
such work. Provided, however, no permit shall be necessary in
the situation of a property owner making minor repairs or replace-
ments to appliances and fixtures on property occupied by 'him as
his home."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
