AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND
CLOSING TWO SEPARATE PORTIONS OF G STREET,
PLATTED AS F STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by the Success
Corporation and others, with the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 30th day of September, 1959,
asking the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, to vacate, abandon and close two separate portions of
G Street, platted as F Street in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, located west of and adjacent to Blocks 17, 241 19,
222 20 and 21, Success Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and as more particularly described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has,
at the time and place mentioned in the Notice, held a public
hearing upon the question of closing said two separate por-
tions of G Street, platted as F Street, hereinafter described;
and
WHEREAS, petitioners are the owners of all lands
abutting upon said two separate portions of G Street, platted
as F Street, to be vacated and closed in these proceedings,
and those portions of G Street, platted as F Street, have never
been physically opened and improved, and no street or road has
ever been constructed in the right -of -way therefor, and said
two portions of G Street, platted as F Street, have not been
actually used by the public as a street or alley for a period
of fifteen (15) years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, but excepting any easements now
in effect for utility lines, in and to the two separate portions
of G Street, platted as F Street, designated as follows and
upon the plat of Success Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, of record with the Pulaski County, Arkansas Circuit
Clerk and Recorder, a certified copy of which plat is filed here-
in with the Little Rock City Clerk:
Those portions of G Street (originally dedicated
as F Street) lying between Blocks 17 and 24 and
between Blocks 19, 20, 21 and 22, Success Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more parti-
cularly described as:
(1) Begin at the northeast corner of Lot 1,
Block 24, Success Addition; thence west along
the north boundary line of Lots 1 and 12,
Block 24; thence north to the southwest corner
of Lot 7, Block 17, Success Addition; thence
east along the south line of Lots 7 and 6, Block
17, to the southeast corner of Lot 6; thence
south to the point of beginning.
(2) Begin at the northeast point of Lot 1,
Block 22, Success Addition; thence west along
the north line of Lots 1 and 12, Block 22 and Lots
1 and 12, Block 21, to a point on the north-
west corner of Lot 12, Block 21, Success
Addition; thence north to the southwest corner
of Lot 7, Block 20, Success Addition; thence
east along the south line of Lots 7 and 6,
Block 20, Success Addition and the south line
of Lots 7 and 6, Block 19, Success Addition,
to the southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 19,
Success Addition; thence south to the point
of beginning.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified
by the Little Rock City Clerk shall be filed in the office of
the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the
deed records of said County.
