11007r- 0 0 4 ro Q) b 9 a) G0 ORDINANCE NO. 112007 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2, SECTION 2 (1), AND SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 11,000, SAME BEING: " AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE LOCATION, USE, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF TRAILER COACHES AND TRAILER COURTS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND LICENSES THEREFOR AND PRESCRIBING CERTAIN SAFETY AND SANITARY REQUIREMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISIONS HEREOF; (1) REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 5809, AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; (2) DECLARING UNLICENSED TRAILER COURTS IN EXISTENCE AFTER 6 MONTHS FROM THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE TO BE A NUISANCE, SUBJECT TO INJUNCTION. "; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 11,000 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 2. Permits - After the effective date of this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person to construct, maintain, operate or alter any trailer court within the limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, unless he holds a valid permit issued annually by the health officer and a current privilege license from the City Collector of the City of Little Rock in the name of such person for the specific trailer court." SECTION 2. Section 2 (1) of Ordinance No. 11,000 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 2. (1) All trailer courts in existence upon the effective date of this ordinance shall within six (6) months thereafter obtain such privilege license from the City Collector of the City of Little Rock and in other respects comply fully with the requirements of this ordinance. An unlicensed trailer court in existence after six (6) months from the effective date of this ordinance which does not comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed a public nuisance and the operation of the same may be en- joined at the suit of the City of Little Rock in any court of com- petent jurisdiction. All trailer courts-located in areas annexed d- 7 -2- to the City of Little Rock shall obtain such license and other- wise comply with provisions of this ordinance within six (6) months from the date of annexation." SECTION 3. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 11,000 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 3. Privilege License - The annual privilege license for each trailer court shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) plus the pay- ment of twenty -four dollars ($24.00) per each trailer space. The following taxes are due and payable in advance on the 1st day of January, 1960, and on each succeeding January Ist thereafter. The City Collector shall issue a license only upon an application ap- proved by the City Health Officer." SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval$ AND all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
