AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS
LOCATED IN THE NW-'z NE4 OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH
RANGE 13 WEST; PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas entered
its order as of November 4. 1959, upon the petition of all owners of the
property affected after due notice of hearing on said petition for the
time and in the manner prescribed by law, ordering the annexation of the
following described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
All of Jenny Lane Subdivision, a plot of which is filed
in the Office of the Pulaski County Circuit Clerk in Plot Book 4
at Page 346; and, Oakcliff Subdivision to the City of Little Rock
a plot of which has been filed in the Office of the Pulaski Circuit
Clerk in Plot Book 7 at Page 96 and which was described in the
Petition as follows:
Lot One (1) through Thirty -five (35)2 inclusive, OAKCLIFF, a
subdivision in Pulaski County, Arkansas, a subdivision of Part
of the Fractional W`J of the NW4 of the NE4 of Section 2, Township
1 North, Range 13 West, in Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the said NW4 NE-41.,
which point is also the Northeast corner of Brookfield
Subdivision, Section "A", and running thence East 619.9
feet to iron pin set; run thence South along line of
East side of Jenny Lane Subdivision projected 639.65
feet to the Northeast corner of said Jenny Lane Sub-
division; thence West along North line of Jenny Lane
Subdivision 305.24 feet to the Northwest corner therof;
thence South along West Boundary of Jenny Lane Sub-
division 30 feet to iron pin set; thence West and
parallel to North Line of Jenny Lane Subdivision pro-
jected, a distance of 151.6 feet to iron pin set; thence
South and parallel to East line of Brookfield Subdivision
78 feet to iron pin set; thence West and parallel to
North line of Jenny Lane Subdivision projected a distance
of 193.65 feet to iron pin set in East line of Section "A"
of Brookfield Subdivision; thence North along said East
line of said Brookfield Subdivision, a distance of 749.1
feet to the point of beginning, except the North 100 feet
of above described property, which has been previously
annexed to the City of Little Rock concurrent with the
Annexation of Brookfield Subdivision; be and the same is
hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any proceedings in

the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or elsewhere, to
prevent said annexation, and no protestants have appeared and no
notice given to the authorities of the City of Little flock, Arkansas
of any attempt to vacate, review, set aside or appeal from the
said order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, said above- described lands are contiguous to
and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexation of,
and does hereby accept and make a part of the incorporated area of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas all of the lands described hereinabove
in the Ordinance; and that said lands be and are hereby assigned
and attached to the Fifth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that one copy of the Order
of Annexation of Pulaski County Court, entered November 30, 1959s
together with a certified copy of this Ordinance shall be delivered to
and filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Arkansas.
