AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTY IN BLOCK 350,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND BLOCK 406,
LINCOLN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420, AS AMENDED; THE LITTLE ROCK
ZONING ORDINANCE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS certain property is owned by the Little Rock School Board and;
WHEREAS the Little Rock School Board, in order to construct new school
buildings which are needed at the earliest possible date, must sell
this property;
WHEREAS said School Board has a purchase agreement for said property
as described below provided the property is rezoned;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following
property be and is hereby changed as indicated.
Tract No. 2 -B All of block four hundred and six (406), Lincoln's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; the north eight -one
(81) feet of the south one hundred and sixty -six (166) feet, the
south eighty -five (85) feet, and. the north one hundred and thirty -
four (134) feet, all in block three hundred and fifty (350)9 Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, from "C" Two - family District to "F"
Commercial District.
SECTION 2. That the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance
No. 5420 as amended, and. the map referred. to in Section 2 thereof
entitled "District Map" be, and they are hereby amended to the
extent and in the respect necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. Now, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary for preservation of
the public peace, health and safety and shall be in full force from
and after its passage and approval.
