AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 5321, 5322 AND 6713,
WHICH ORDINANCES GRANT THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, AND MAIN-
TAIN SPUR TRACTS THEREIN IDENTIFIED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Highway Commission, in connection
with the construction of the Third Bridge and Expressway connecting
Little Rock and North Little Rock has acquired certain right of way,
including trackage owned by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific
Railroad Company within and across said right of way; and
WHEREAS, the said Railroad Company has no further use for
the rights granted it under Ordinances No. 5321, 5322, and 6713,
which rights pertain to the operation and maintenance of spur tracts
therein identified;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 5321, 5322and 6713 passed March 9,
1936, March 9, 1936, and December 11, 1944, respectively, are hereby
repealed in their entirety.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
