11068ORDINANCE 11,068 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11,011, SAME BEING KNOWN AS THE BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1960, BY GRANTING DISABILITY RETIREMENT TO GLEN FORSYTHE AND WALTER E. BAILEY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 28 A (1) a of Ordinance No. 11,011, same being known as the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the year 1960, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 28. Street Fund A. General -- Street Fund -- 136. (1) Budget Summary Estimated Proposed Allowed by 1959 1960 Board a. 1.Salaries $369,000 $393,160 $393,160" SECTION 2. Section 28 A (6) of Ordinance No. 11,011 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 28. Street Fund A. General -- Street Fund -- 136. (6) Salaries - Retired Employees SECTION 3. Section 28 A (7) of Ordinance No. 11,011 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 28. Street Fund A. General -- Street Fund -- 136. (7) TOTAL ALL SALARIES $382,3650 " SECTION 4. Section 28 A (9) of Ordinance No. 11,011 is hereby amended to read as follows: bpp -1� C -9 No. Present Proposed Annual Emp. It has been determined that payment of disability retirement, when warranted, should be made at the earliest possible time by the City in order to effect the continued high morale of the employees of the City of Little Rock, and that this amendment will provide for same; now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
