ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE WEST
150 FEET OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 3, LANDRETH & COX
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 9th day of March, 1960, asking the
Board of Directors to vacate and abandon the west 150 feet of the alley in
Block 3, Landreth & Cox Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on
the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book 76, Page 378,
in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however,
to any public easement in said alley; and,
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, hereinbefore
described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley, as herein
described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of
at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners
of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board
of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 3,
Landreth & Cox Addition to the City of Little. Rock, thence East
150 feet to a point on the Northeast corner of Lot 9, thence 15 feet

North to a point on the Southeast corner of Lot 4, thence West to
a point on the Southwest corner of Lot 6, thence South 15 feet to the
point of beginning, all in Block 3, Landreth & Cox Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said alley.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and
recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
