ORDINANCE NO. 11,078
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TEXAS EASTERN TRANSMISSION CORPORATION
TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, MAINTAIN, REPLACE, ALTER OR
REMOVE, ACROSS, UNDER AND ALONG CERTAIN STREETS AND
ALLEYS IN THE CITY.OF LITTLE ROCK, A PIPE LINE OF A
DIAMETER NOT EXCEEDING 2011.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation
(a corporation under the laws of Delaware), its successors
and assigns, is hereby authorized to construct, operate, main-
tain, alter, replace and remove a pipe line, for the transmission
of natural gas, oil or other petroleum products, across, under,
and along certain streets and alleys in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, as follows, to -wit:
Said pipe line to cross under East 9th Street
substantially at a point where said street is
intersected by the north boundary line of Section
81 Township 1 North, Range 11 West.
Said pipe line to cross East 9th Street
substantiallyaot a point where said street is
intersected bythe east boundary of Section 6,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West.
Said pipe line to cross River Street at a point
approximately 481 north of the center line of
East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross the alley in Block 55,
Industrial Park Addition, at a point approximately
481 north of the center line of East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross Lawson Street at a point
approximately 481 north of the center line of
East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross the alley in Block 52,
Industrial Park Addition, at a point approximately
4101 north of the center line of East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross Carson Street at a point
approximately 4101 north of the center line of
East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross the alley in Block 49,
Industrial Park Addition, at a point approximately
4101 north of the center line of East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross Maxwell Street at a point
approximately 4141 north of the center line of East
9th Street.

Said pipe line to cross the alley in Block 45,
Industrial Park Addition, at a point approximately
4141 north of the center line of East 9th Street.
Said pipe lire to cross Bedford Street at a point
approximately 4101 north of the center line of
East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross the alley in Block 42,
Industrial Park Addition, at a point approximately
4101 north of the center line of East 9th Street
Said pipe line to cross Union Street at a point
approximately 4101 north of the center line of East
9th Street.
Said pipe line to cross the alley in Block 3 7,
Industrial Park Addition, at a point 4101 north of
the center line of East 9th Street.
Said pipe line to enter Crosby Street, at a point
approximately 4101 north of the center line of East
9th Street, thence to continue in a northerly direction
(along a route approximately 101 from, and parallel to,
the east boundary line of Crosby Street) to the south
bank of the Arkansas River.
SECTION 2. The pipe line above mentioned shall have
an outside diameter not exceeding 2011; provided at any points
where the line may be enclosed in casing, such casing may have
a larger diameter.
SECTION 3. In constructing, operating, maintaining,
altering, replading and removing said street and alley crossings
Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, its successors and
assigns, shall fully comply with the requirements of Ordinance
10,803, enacted by this Board of Directors on June 2, 1958,
and shall also comply with all applicable requirements of the
American Standards Code for Pressure Piping.
SECTION 4. The rights of Texas Eastern Transmission
Corporation, its successors and assigns, under this Ordinance
shall remain in effect until its use of said pipe line is
permanently abandoned or termira ted by the City in the exercise
of its police power; and this Ordinance is not intended to create
an exclusive franchise.
SECTION 5. Before effecting the street and alley
crossings herein authorized, Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation
shall pay to the City of Little Rock the sum of $500.00 as con-
sideration for the privileges herein granted to it.

SECTION 6. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
