AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THIRTY -FIVE THOUSAND AND N01100 DOLLARS
($35,000.00) FROM UNAPPROPRIATED SURPLUS IN THE GENERAL FUND TO THE
STREET FUND; APPROPRIATING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF SAID THIRTY -FIVE THOU-
SAND AND N01100 DOLLARS ($35,000.00) TO CERTAIN ACCOUNTS IN THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11,011; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby transferred from unappropriated surplus
in the General Fund the sum of Thirty -Five Thousand and No /100 Dollars
($35,000.00) to the Street Fund of the City of Little Rocs:, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated Ten Thousand and No /100
Dollars ($10,000.00) to Account No. 1.4 - Salaries - Temporary, Seasonal
& Overtime, and certain Sections of Ordinance No. 11,011 are hereby
amended as set forth in sub - sections A, B, C and D hereof:
A. Section 28 A (1) a is amended to read as follows:

hereby amended as set forth in sub - sections A, B and C hereof:

SECTION 4. Whereas there is an immediate need within the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas for the improvement of certain City streets, alleys
and thoroughfares; and Whereas, weather now permitting, the street im-
provement program of the City of Little Rock can be accelerated; and
Whereas, it is essential that over -time be paid to certain employees from
time to time; and Whereas, additional funds are needed for such purposes;

now therefore, it is found that an emergency does exist and that the
appropriations of certain funds in order to promptly pay employees
for overtime work and to repair streets, alleys and thoroughfares
is necessary in order to preserve the public peace, health and
safety; this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval and all ordinances and part of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
