AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PARTS OF BRIARWOOD ADDITION,
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
hereinafter called "Court ", in an order dated May 16, 1960 annexed
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas certain parts of Briarwood
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereinafter called
"Briarwood Addition ", and hereinbelow specifically described; and
WHEREAS, no notice of objection was given to the making of
the Order of Annexation by the Court within thirty (30) days
of the making of the Order of Annexation; and
WHEREAS, since no notice of objection to the Order of
Annexation was given within thirty (30) days, the Annexation
Order of the Court was in all things confirmed by operation of
Ark. Stats. 19 -305; and

WHEREAS, the best interest of the citizenry of the City of
Little Rock will be served by annexing the said certain parts
of Briarwood Addition;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby annexe
certain parts of Briarwood Addition described as follows:
A part of Lots 145A through 152A, 216 through 233 and 235
through 324 of Briarwood, a subdivision of part of the SW4,
Section 11 T -1 -N, R -13 -W, to be annexed to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly de "scribed as fol-
lows: Commencing at the NW corner of the NW41 SW41 Section
1, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence S 860 521 E 901.1 feet to the poin
of beginning; thence S 1° 261 W 1,275.3 feet to a point tha
is 50.0 feet north of the south line of the 1 4, SW4—„ Sec-
tion 1, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence S 860 541 E and parallel to
the south line of the NW4, SW-11T and NE4, SW4 of said Section
1 1,091.0 feet to a ?oint that is 50.0 feet north of the
south line of said NE,,, SW4; thence N 10 231 E 1,274.7 fee
to a point in the north line of the said SW4, said point
being in the center line of Princess Drive; thence N 860
521 W along the north line of the SW4, 709.1 feet to the SE
corner of Lot 144 of Briarwood, a subdivision of part of th
W_Z,Section 1, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence continuing N 860 521 W
along the south line of Lots 144, 145, 52 and part of 51 ir,
said Briarwood, 380.8 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Record of
said County.
SECTION 3. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of County Clerk
of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 4. The parts of Briarwood Addition hereby
annexed are to be in Ward Four of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
