11094ORDINANCE NO. 11,094 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 113,011 BY PROVIDING FOR THE DISABILITY RETIREMENT OF AN EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I IN THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 27 A (1)a of Ordinance No. 11,011, same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the year 1960, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 27. General Fund - -- Sanitation Department A. Sanitation -154. (1) Budget Summary Estimated Proposed Allowed By 1959 1960 Board a. 1. Salaries $2512000 $2692768 $269,768 Of SECTION 2. Section 27 A (5) of Ordinance No. 11,011 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 27. General Fund - -- Sanitation Department A. Sanitation -154. (6) TOTAL ALL SALARIES $2622110 (7) SOCIAL SECURITY $ 79658 (8) TOTAL SALARIES AND SOCIAL SECURITY $269,768 " SECTION 4. It has been determined that payment of disability re- tirement, when warranted, should be made at the earliest possible time Coo- k-0 _4 . -2- by the City in order to effect the continued high morale of the em- ployees of the City of Little Rock, and that this amendment will pro- vide for same; now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed.
