AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THR.INSVALLATION OF FIRE HYDRANTS WITHIN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE Y'$A,R 1961; AND FOR OAR PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AR LIMAS :
�_..n SSCTT (W 1. Whenever the.Chief of the Little Rock Fire Department,
with the approval of the Arkansas Fire Prevention Bureau, shall select
locations within the City of Little Rock for fire hydrants deemed neces-
sary for adequate fire protection for the City of Little Rock and re-
quests the Board of Water Works Commissioners of the Little Rock Muni=
` cipal Water Works to install same, the said Board of Water Works Com-
missioners shall have full authority to install said hydrants and charge
rental therefor as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2. That rates for hydrants installed under this Ordinance
shall be as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the Trust Indenture,
dated February 1, 1936, and approved by City Ordinance No. 5316, pass-
ed February 28, 1936, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5712, pass-
ed March 22, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5914, passed
June 10, 1940, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 6824, passed
September 10, 1945, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 9793, passed
March 28, 1955.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict with this ordi-
nance.
SECTION 4. This orAinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
