ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY ADJACENT
TO LOTS 4, 5 and 9, STEMPEL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANS AS .
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas' on the 28 t)day of November ,
19 60 asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the
alley adjacent to Lots 4, 5 and 9, Stempel Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing
of record in Book 2, Page 9, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said alley; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons
desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley,
hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public
use as an alley, as herein described; has not been actually used by the
public generally for a period of at least 5 years subsequent to the filing
of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the
alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written
consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not
be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights , together with the rights of the public
generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
An alley adjacent to Lots 4, 5 and 9, Stempel Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as
follows: Beginning at the NW corner of Lot 5 of said Stempel
Addition, go thence West a distance of 13.9 feet; thence North
a distance of 18 feet; thence East a distance of 13.9 feet; thence
South 18 feet to the point of beginning
subject however to any public utility easements located in said alley.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
