AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.A.(1) AND (8), 18.B.(1) AND
18.B.(4), (5) and (6) OF ORDINANCE NO. 11,139, SAME BEING THE
BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1961,
BY PROVIDING FOR A TRAINING OFFICER AND FIRE MARSHAL. IN THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 18.A.(1) and (8) of Ordinance No. 11,139,
same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the
year 1961, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 18. General Fund -- Fire 94

SECTION 2. Section 18.B.(1) of Ordinance No. 11,139 is hereby

SECTION 4. It has been determined that certain changes in
the Budget of the City of Little Rock for 1961 should be made in
order to provide for a Training Officer and Fire Marshall in the
Fire Department in order to facilitate the proper and efficient
management of the said Department and that this Ordinance will
provide therefor; now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
