ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
THAT PORTION OF "F" STREET PLATTED AS "G" STREET
BETWEEN MCADOO AND COOLIDGE IN BLOCKS 21, 22, 23,
261 27 and 28, SUCCESS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
W ERFAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 6th day of March

1961, asking the Board to vacate that portion of "F" Street designated on
the plat of Success Addition to the City of Little Rock, as "G" Street,
appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 1.28, in the office of the Recorder

41-1 for Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
oThat portion of "F" Street platted as "G" Street between
McAdoo and Coolidge closed in three (3) parts, part number
>. 1 being between McAdoo and Bryant, bounded on the north by
Lots 6 and 71 Block 21, and on the south by Lots 1 and 12,
'u Block 28, except the east five (5) feet and the west five
ra (5) feet thereof located in Success Addition;

Part number 2 being between Bryant and Mellon Street bounded
on the north by Lot 6 and 7, Block 22 and bounded on south by
Lots 1 and 12, Block 27, except the east five (5) feet and the
west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success Addition;
Part number 3 being between Mellon Street and Coolidge Street,
bounded on the north by Lots 6 and 7, Block 23, and bounded on
the south by Lots 1 and 12, Block 26, except the east five (5)
feet and the west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success
Addition.
W E'REAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question, and has ascertained that the portion of the
street hereinabove described has heretofore been dedicated to the public
use as a street; that same has not been actually used by the public
generally for a period of at least five years subsequent to the filing
of the plat; that all the owners of the property abutting upon the portion
of the street to be vacated have filed with this Board their written
consent to such abandonment, and that public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such portion of said
street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rockt Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the portion of "F" Street in Success Addition
to the City of Little Rock, designated as follows:

That portion of "F" Street platted as "G" Street between
McAdoo and Coolidge closed in three (3) parts, part number
1 being between McAdoo and Bryant, bounded on the north by
Lots 6 and 7, Block 21, and on the south by Lots 1 and 12,
Block 28, except the east five (5) feet and the west five
(5) feet thereof located in Success Addition;
Part number 2 being between Bryant and Mellon Street bounded
on the north by Lot 6 and 7. Block 22 and bounded on south by
Lots 1 and 12, Block 27, except the east five (5) feet and the
west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success Addition;
Part number 3 being between Mellon Street and Coolidge Street,
bounded on the north by Lots 6 and 7, Block 23, and bounded on
the south by Lots 1 and 12, Block 26, except the east five (5)
feet and the west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success
Addition.
Section 2, A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas and recorded in the deed records of said County.
Section 3, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
