ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING PORTIONS
OF STREETS AND ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 6, 7 AND 8, REMMELIS
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 20th
day of March, 1961, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and.abandon portions of the streets and alleys in Blocks 6,
7, and 8, Remmelts Addition to the City of Little Rock, as
designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of
record in Plat Book 22 Page 184, in the office of the Re-
corder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
any public easements in said portions of streets and alleys;
and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and
has ascertained that the portion of streets and alleys, herein-
after described, have heretofore been dedicated to the public
use as a street or alley, as herein described; has not been
actually used by the public generally for a period of at
least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the
alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors
their written consent to such abandonment; and that public
interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the
abandonment of such portion of streets and .alleys:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the streets and
alleys designated as follows:

All that part of Jefferson Street lying between
Lots 8 through 14, inclusive, in Block 7, and
Lots 17, 18 and 19, Block 6, Remmel's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
All that part of an alley lying between Lots 1
through 6, inclusive and Lots 9 through 14,
inclusive, in Block 6, Remmelts Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
All that part of Adams Street lying adjacent to
Blocks 7 and 8, Remmel's Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas,
All that part of an alley lying in Block 7, Remmelts
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in
said portions of streets and alleys.
SECTICN 2. A copy of this Crdinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.
S£CT10N 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
