ORDINANCE NO. 11,173
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 46.A.(8) AND (10) AND SECTION
446.C.(8) OF ORDINANCE NO. 11,139, SAME BEING THE BUDGET ORDI-
NANCE -FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR THE YEAR 1961,
BY APPROPRIATING ONE THOUSAND AND N01100 DOLLARS ($1,000.00)
TO ACCOUNT NO. 8.4 OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT; DECLARING AN EMER-
GENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of One Thousand
and No /100 Dollars ($1,000.00) from Unappropriated Surplus in the
Street Fund to Account No. 8.4 of the Street Department.
SECTION 2. Section 46.A.(8) and (10) of Ordinance No. 11,139,
same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the
year 1961, is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 4. It has been found,and determined that there are
certain drainage problems existing in the City of Little Rock and
that certain moneys are needed in order to provide for storm sewers

to correct this evil; now therefore, an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the pre-
servation of the public peace, health and safety shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
