AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO.
11.,1399 SAME BEING THE BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1961, BY PROVIDING FOR THE
DISABILITY RETIREMENT OF ALBERT C. WILSON AN EMPLOYEE
OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Sections 46.A.(1) and (10) of Ordinance No. 11,139,
same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the
year 1961, are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 46. Street Fund -- Street 136

SECTION 4. It has been determined that payment of disability

retirement, when warranted, should be made at the earliest possible
time by the City in order to effect the continued high morale of the
employees of the City of Little Rock,and that this amendment will pro-
vide for same; now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval, and all ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
