TRANSFERS FROM SURPLUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN
TO DEFICIT ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE BUDGET;
EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE BUDGET
DECLARING AN
WHEREAS, for various reasons, certain Departments of the
City have surplus moneys in certain of their budget accounts and
totals; and
WHEREAS, certain Departments of the City need additional
moneys to facilitate the management of their Departments; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock desires to authorize certain transfers from surplus accounts
within the Budget to deficit accounts within the Budget so that
no Department Budget Account will be overspent; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend certain parts of Ordi-
nance No. 11,139, same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of
Little Rock for 1961, in order to make such transfers;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. In order to make moneys available in deficit
accounts within the Budget of the City of Little Rock for 1961, the
Board of Directors hereby approves transfers from surplus accounts
within the Budget in the amounts as follows:

SECTION 17. It has been found and determined that in order
to facilitate the proper management of certain departments in the
City of Little Rock, certain transfers must be made; now therefore,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
