11212rA ORDINANCE NO. 11, 212 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 14, BELLEVUE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 16th day of August 1961, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the alley in Block 14, Bellevue Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 251, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said alley; and, WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, he reinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vackted have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows: That portion of a certain alley runnin g east and west from Third Street to Highway 10, and between Lots 7 and 8, and Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 14, Bellevue Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said alley. Section 2, A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. Section 3.
