11253w ORDINANCE NO. 11,253 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THIRTY ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THREE AND N01100 DOLLARS ($31,703.00) TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 111241, SAME BEING THE BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1962, TO PROVIDE FOR SAME; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from unappropriated surplus in the General Fund to the Fire Department Account No. 94, the sum of Thirty One Thousand Seven Hundred Three and No /100 Dol- lars ($31,703.00) to provide for additional personnel and equipment for the said Department. SECTION 2. Subsections me and n. under Section J.(1) of Ordi- nance No. 11,241, same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Pock for the year 1962, are hereby amended to read as follows: No . gip. It has been found and determined that certain changes should be made in the Budget of the City of Little Rock for 1962 to pro- vide for additional personnel and equipment in the Fire Department which are needed in order to enable the Fire Department to perform its duties efficiently; now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
