ORDINANCE NO. 111266
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
CERTAIN PORTIONS OF GASLAND, GROVE, AND PARK
STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on March 7,
1962, praying that the Board of Directors vacate, abandon and
close certain portions of Gasland and Grove Streets and Park Stree
(which is only a fifteen foot easement for a street, the other
fifteen foot portion never having been dedicated) which are
described below; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the portions of the streets and the easement for
a street, which are described below, have been dedicated to the
public use as streets in the manner herein described; have not
been actually used by the public generally for a period of at
least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat; and that
public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the
abandonment of such streets and easement for a street.
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the portions of the
streets designated as follows:
Gasland Street
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 7,
Santa Fe Park Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, thence South 975 feet to a
point which is the Southeast corner of Block 31,
Santa Fe Park Addition, thence East 30 feet,
thence North 975 feet, thence West 30 feet to
the point of beginning.
Grove Street
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 31,
Santa Fe Park Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, thence North 40 feet, thence
East 315 feet, thence South 40 feet, thence
West 315 feet to the point of beginning.

Section 2. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of public generally, in and to the portion of Park Street
(which is only a fifteen foot easement for a street) designated
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 7,
Santa Fe Park Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, thence North.-15 feet, thence
East 345 feet, thence South 15 feet, thence
West 345 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 3. A copy of the ordinance duly certified by
the city clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the deed records of Pulaski County.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
enforced from and after its passage.
