ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE
ALLEY IN BLOCK 7, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 5th
day of February, 1962, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon all of the alley in Block 7, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS
addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat
of said Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 62,.page
181, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject, however, to any public easements in said alley; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained: that the said alley has heretofore been dedicated
to the public use as an alley, as herein described; that said
alley has not been actually used by the public generally for a
period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of
the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon
the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors
their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment
of such alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Sectionl. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as
follows:

The alley platted as part of Block 7, of COUNTRY CLUB
HEIGHTS ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,��
running through the entire Block 7, from the street known
as Country Club Boulevard North to the street known as
Hawthorne Road and more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the Northwest corner of Spruce Street and
Country Club Boulevard; thence proceeding along Country
Club Boulevard in a Westerly direction 140 feet more or less,
to the point of beginning, which point is the Southwest
corner of Lot 1, Block 7, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION;
thence proceed North 300 feet, more or less, to Hawthorne
Road to a point which is the North west corner of Lot 6,
Block 7, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION; thence proceed
West 10 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of
Lot 7, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION, which point is on
Hawthorne Road; thence proceed South 300 feet, more or
less, to a point on Country Club Boulevard which is the
Southeast corner of Lot 10, COUNTRY CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION;
thence proceed East to the point of beginning,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
alley.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
