11284ORDINANCE NO. 119284 AN ORDINANCE VACATING,# ABANDONING AND CLOSING OSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 11, AEMEL ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on April 25th , 1962, praying that the Board of Directors vacate, abandon and close a portion of an alley which is described below, and WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the portion of the alley which is described below, has been dedicated to the public use as an alley in the manner herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley. Now, therefore, be it ordained by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the portion of an alley located in Block 110 Remmel Addition to the City of Little Rock, which is designated as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 6, thence South 223.4 feet, thence West 20 feet, thence North 223.4 feet, thence East 20 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the deed records of Pulaski County. Section 3.
