ORDINANCE NO. 11,288
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 135 OF LITTLE ROCKO
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two thirds in assessed value of the real property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose
hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by more than two thirds in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to-wit:

dition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence West along the
South line of said Lot 6 to the Southwest corner of said Lot 6;
thence North along the West line of Lots 6, 5, and 4 of said Block 3
to the Northwest corner of said Lot 4; thence West along the North
line of Lot 7 of said Block 3 to the Northwest corner of said Lot 7;
thence North along the East line of Lot 8, Block 3, Westwood Addi-
tion, to the Northeast corner of said Lot 8; thence West along the
South line of Lots 12 to 21, inclusive, of said Block 3 to the South-
west corner of said Lot 21; thence North along the West line of said
Lot 21, 35 feet more or less to a point on the North line of Lot 24,
Block 3, Westwood Addition; thence West along the North line of said
Lot 24 to the Northwest corner of said Lot 24; thence North 250 feet
along a line parallel to the East line of Pike Addition to the City
of Little Rock, in the NW4 NE4, Section 23, Township 1 North, Range
13 West; thence in a Westerly direction to the Northeast corner of
Lot 16, Block 7, Pike Addition; thence in a Southwesterly direction
along the Northernmost line of said Lot 16 to the Northwest corner
of said Lot 16; thence in a Westerly direction to the Southeast
corner of Lot 1, Block 7, Pike Addition; thence North along the East
line of said Lot 1 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence
Southwesterly and Westerly along the South right-of-way line of
Arkansas State Highway No. 5 to its intersection with the East line
of the NE4 NW4, Section 23, Township 1 North, Range 13 West; thence
North along said East line of said NE4 NW4 to a point 200 feet North
of the North right-of-way line of said Highway; thence West parallel
to and 200 feet North of said North right-of-way line of said High-
way to a point 208 feet East of the West line of said NE4 NW4;
thence North to a point on the North line of said NE4 NW4 which is
208 feet East of the Northwest corner of said NE4 NW4; thence West
208 feet to the Northwest corner of said NE4 NW4; thence Shwester-
ly to the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Euclid Place Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence West to the Northwest
corner of said Lot 1; thence South to the Northeast corner of Lot 4,
Block 2, Euclid Place Addition; thence West to the Northwest corner
of Lot 1, Block 3, Euclid Place Addition; thence South to the South-
west corner of Lot 9 of said Block 3; thence Southerly to the North-
east corner of Lot 6, Block 5, Westwood Addition; thence in a Wester-
ly direction to the Northwest corner of said Lot 6; thence South
along the West line of said Lot 6 to the Southwest corner of said
Lot 6; thence East along the South line of said Lot 6 to a point
which is 150 feet West of the West right-of-way line of Westwood
Avenue; thence in a Southerly direction along a line parallel to and
150 feet Westerly from the West right-of-way line of Westwood Avenue
to the East right-of-way line of Lookout Road; thence in a South-
westerly direction along the East right-of-way line of Lookout Road
to the Southwest corner of Lot 26 of said Block 5; thence in an
Easterly direction along the South line of Lots 26, 27, and 28 of
said Block 5 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 28; thence North
along the East line of said Lot 28, 63 feet to a point on the East
line of said Lot 28; thence in an Easterly direction along a line
parallel to and 300 feet South of the South right- of-way line of
Westwood Avenue and across Lots 29 to 47, inclusive, of said Block 5,
to the East line of said Lot 47, Block 5; thence in a Northwesterly
direction along the East line of said Lot 47 to a point which is 150
feet Southeasterly from the South right-of-way line of Westwood
Avenue; thence in a North and Easterly direction along a line which
is 150 feet East and Southerly from, and parallel to, the South
right-of-way line of Westwood Avenue to the East line of Lot 50,
Block 5, Westwood Addition; thence in a Northwesterly direction along
the East line of said Lot 50, Block 5, Westwood Addition, to a point
on the South right-of-way line of Westwood Avenue; thence in an
Easterly direction along the South right-of-way line of Westwood
Avenue to its intersection with the West right-of-way line of Country
Club Road; thence East to a point which is 175 feet East of the East
line of Section 23, Township 1 North, Range 13 West; thence North
along a line which is 175 feet East of and parallel to the East line
of said Section 23, for 750 feet, more or less, to a point on the
North line of the South 22.71 acres of the SW14 NWT, Section 24,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West; thence West for 175 feet to a point
on the East line of Section 23, Township 1 North, Range 13 West;
thence North along the East line of said Section 23 to a point which
is 25 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 3, Westwood
Addition; thence West to the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 3,
Westwood Addition, being the point of beginning,
for the purpose of building a sanitary sewer system to serve said
property, with an outlet beyond the boundaries of the district if deemed
advisable, in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district; and the cost
thereof, over and above any aid received from any agency of the federal
or city government, shall be assessed and charged upon the real property
above described.
Said district shall be known as "Sewer Improvement District
No. 135 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Roger C. Richards, Fred L.
Pullium, and Merton A. Wallace are hereby named commissioners, who shall
compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effe`tt and be in force from
and after its passage.
