AN ORDINANCE 'REASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED
BY THE DFNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS
OF LAND WITHIN ANNEX NO. 1 TO SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.
130 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Annex No. 1 to Sewer Improvement District No.
130 of the City of Little Rock was created by Ordinance No.
10,786 of 1958; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, enacted Ordinance No. 10,904 of 1959 which
assessed the real property within said district according
to the benefits received by each and every block, lot and
parcel of land; and
WHEREAS, additional improvements have been made upon
said lands within Annex No. 1 to said district and the
benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel
of real property situated in Annex No. 1 to said district
equals or exceeds the local reassessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, no readjustment of assessments has been made
since the original ordinance assessing the value of benefits
in said district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels
of real property in Annex No. 1 to said district be assessed
according to the reassessment list for Annex No. 1 to said
improvement district as the same now remains in the office
of the City Clerk, and that five percentum (5 %) of the
assessment of each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall
be collected by the County Collector with the first install-
ment of general taxes becoming due on the third Monday in
February, 1963, and annually thereafter with the first
installment of general taxes until the whole of said
local reassessment shall be paid; provided, however, the
annual assessment of benefits aforesaid may, at the

election of the taxpayer, be paid in quarterly installments
along with the quarterly installments of ad valorem taxes.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
