ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND
CLOSING THAT PART OF AN 8 FOOT ALLEY LYING
IMMEDIATELY EAST OF LOT 12, BLOCK 61 DEAF
MUTE ADDITION TO CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AND WEST OF LOT 60 J. W. HOUSE
SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 365, ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, BEING THE SOUTH 65.48
FEET OF SAID ALLEY.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Direct-
ors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 16th day of April,
1963, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon that part
of an 8 foot alley lying immediately East of Lot 12, Block 6, Deaf
Mute Addition to City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and West of Lot 6,
J. W. House Subdivision of Block 365, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, being the South 65.48 feet of said alley, as designated
in the Plat and Bill of Assurance recorded in Book 2, Page 48 of
the Records of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of
Directors, has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that that part of the alley, hereinbefore described
has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley, as herein
described; and has not been actually used by the public generally
for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of
the Plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon that
part of the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Direct-
ors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public in-
terest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment
of such street:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to that part of an alley designated as
follows: That part of an 8 foot alley lying immediately East of
Lot 12, Block 6, Deaf Mute Addition to City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and West of Lot 6 of J. W. House Subdivision of Block 365, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas being the South 65.48 feet of said alley.

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified, shall
be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
