11507ORDINANCE NO. 11,507 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THAT PORTION OF THE ALLEY LYING BETWEEN LOTS 3 THROUGH 8, ON THE NORTH SIDE AND LOTS 9 THROUGH 14, ON THE SOUTH SIDE, IN BLOCK 12, PFEIFER IS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 9th day of July, 1964, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon part of the alley in Block 12, Pfeifer's Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 2, Page 65, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said alley; and WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, herein described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 'SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows: That portion of the alley in Block 12, Pfeifer's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, lying between Lots 3 through 8, on the North side, and Lots 9 through 14, on the South side; M2_ subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said alley. SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. SECTION 3.
