AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE 10,927;
RENAMING THE ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY AND
ANTIQUITIES TO "MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND NATURAL HISTORY,"
AND R OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 10,927 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended, as follows:
"The Arkansas Museum of Natural History and Antiquities,
sometimes referred to as the Museum of Natural History
and Antiquities, which is now and for many years last
past has been located and housed in the old Arsenal
Building in MacArthur Park in the city of Little Rock,
from and after passage of this Ordinance which is
called, and the same is hereby renamed: 'The Museum of
Science and Natural History'."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
