AN ORDINANCE
ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A majority of the real estate owners of a tract of
land contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, duly
petitioned the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to annex their
tract of land to the City of Little Rock. After publication of notice
of the hearing on the petition and other formalities required by the
Statutes of Arkansas, a hearing was held, and the County Court of
Pulaski County made a finding that all requirements for annexation had
been met and on February 5, 1964, entered an order annexing to the City
of Little Rock the lands described in this Ordinance. No proceeding
was instituted in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County to prevent the
annexation within thirty days from the date of the order of the County
Court of Pulaski County.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to the
Statutes of Arkansas, does hereby accept the annexation and the follow-
ing lands are hereby annexed to the City of Little Rock:
Lots 325 through 400, of BRIARWOOD SUBDIVISION to the City
of Little Rock, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the NWJ SWt,
Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West; thence
South 89 degrees 46 minutes East along the North
line of the said NWt SWt for 901.05 feet; thence
South 1 degree 26 minutes East for 1237.3 feet;
thence North 77 degrees 48 minutes West for 84.1
feet; thence North 88 degrees 47 minutes West for
577.0 feet; thence North 75 degrees 14 minutes
West for 97.45 feet; thence North 83 degrees 54
minutes West for 105.22 feet; thence North 33 de-
grees 22 minutes West for 46.65 feet; thence North
89 degrees 24 minutes West for 25.7 feet to a point
on the West line of the NWt SWt, Section 1; thence
continue North 89 degrees 24 minutes West for 30.0
feet; thence North 1 degree 09 minutes West for
1135.0 feet to a point on the North line of the
NEt SE*, Section 2; thence North 89 degrees 20
minutes East along the North line of the said NE}
SEJ for 30.0 feet to the point of beginning con-
taining 25.5 acres more or less.
