ORDINANCE NO. 119447
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING R. E.
LEE BOULEVARD IN BLOCKS 17 AND 18, C. 0. BRACKts
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 30th
day of October, 19639 asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon all of the Street platted as R. E. Lee Boulevard
in Blacks 17 and 18, C. 0. Brackts Addition to the City of
Little Rock, as designated on the Plat of said Addition now
appearing of record in Plat Book 32 Page 81, in the office of
the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
any public easements in said street; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the street, hereinbefore described, has hereto-
fore been dedicated to the public use as a street, as herein
described; has not been actually used by the public generally for
a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of
the Plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the
street to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their

written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and
welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such
street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the street designated as
follows:
A strip of land, platted as R. E. Lee Boulevard, Recorded
in Plat Book 3, Page 81, lying between Blocks 17 and 189 South of

32nd Street and North of Milton Avenue, in C. 0. Brackts
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot
19 Block 17, C. 0. Brackts Addition; thence Southwesterly along
the East line of Block 17 a distance of 196 feet more or less
to the Southeast corner of Block 17 (North line of Milton Avenue
as platted); thence Northeasterly along the North line of Milton
Avenue a distance of 41.2 feet more or less to the Southwest
corner of Lot 3, Block 18, C. 0. Brackts Addition; thence Northerly
along the West line of Block 18, C. 0. Brackts Addition, a distance
of 134.4 feet more or less to the South right -of -way line of West
32nd Street; thence Northwesterly along the South line of 32nd
Street to the Northeast corner of Block 17, C. 0. Brackts
Addition, the point of beginning;
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of
the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
