1144200 0 M 0) r-1 '� 00 M bLn 0 �+ v r-1 a) N ra L0 a� r-i L'- -- ORDINANCE NO. 11v442 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1964, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1964; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR EACH AND EVERY ITEM OF EXPENDITURE THEREIN PROVIDED FOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Short Title: This ordinance is and shall be referred to hereafter as "The 1964 Budget Ordi- nance of Little Rock ". SECTION 2. This ordinance as presented is composed of tables, summaries, legends, and writings calculated to depict the true and accurate status of the fiscal affairs of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as of January 1, 1964. All revenues shown herein are estimated and subject to change. All appropriations hereinafter made are calcu- lated to be responsive generally to department needs and available revenues. Certain specified items or lines herein are sectionalized consecutively and certain other lines, items and pages are not so sectionalized. In order to avoid duplicity and confusion in appropriating moneys, only such portions hereof as may be sectionalized on the left -hand margin shall be considered appropriated for the purposes herein and no item, line, page or part hereof which is not so sectionalized shall be deemed, in any manner whatsoever, an appropriation of any moneys or funds for any purposes, but shall stand merely as totals, explanation or summary for information purposes only. SECTION 3. rhere is hereby appropriated from revenues during the fiscal year of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, commencing January 1, 1964, and ending December 31, 1964, the respective sums for each and every item of expenditure hereinafter set forth, com- mencing with Subsection (1) and subdivisions thereof and continuing through Subsection (37) and subdivi- sions thereof, as follows: l SECTION 4. The appropriations for salaries herein made for any and all agents, servants and employees of the City of Little Rock, including but not limited to policemen and firemen, includes addi- tional pay for holidays all as provided for by the laws of the State of Arkansas. SECTION 5. Amendments: Any appropriation herein made may, by ordinance, be amended, altered, or changed by amending only the sectionalized horizontal line or lines in which any change is de- sired. It shall be unnecessary to amend any other portion hereof and all unsectionalized portions hereof not specifically designated in the amending ordinance shall be deemed changed to reflect any such amendment. SECTION 6. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
