AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FOUR THOUSAND TWENTY FIVE AND N01100
DOLLARS ($4,025.00) FROM PARKS & AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND, PRO-
JECT 28, TO PARKS & AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND, PROJECT 36, TO
PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT ON AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACT, ENGINEERING
SERVICE AND FENCE AT THE DUNBAR RECREATION CENTER; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, additional moneys are needed in Project 36 to provide
for the payment of the balance due on the Air Conditioning Contract,
engineering service and a fence at the Dunbar Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, there is surplus moneys now available in Project 28; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to transfer Four Thousand
Twenty Five and No /100 Dollars ($4,025.00) from Project 28 to Project
36;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby transferred the sum of Four Thousand
Twenty Five and No /100 Dollars ($4,025.00) from Parks & Airport Con-
struction Fund, Project 28 (Community Center -War Memorial Park) to
Parks & Airport Construction Fund, Project 36 (Air Conditioning and
improving of the Dunbar Recreation Centers for the purpose of
paying the balance due on the Air Conditioning Contract, engineering
service and a fence at the Dunbar Recreation Center.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, the air conditioning and improving of the
Dunbar Recreation Center has exceeded that amount budgeted to that
project; and WHEREAS, this ordinance is necessary in order to com-
plete the purposes of said project and to honor the indebtednesses
incurred and to be incurred when due; NOW THEREFORE, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health and safety shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
