SECTION 1. The City iianager is hereby authorized and
directed to acquire certain parcels of land within the contemplated
East -Jest Expressway as hereinafter identified by number. Each
parcel shall be aceuired for the price hereinafter set forth
opposite the parcel number, which price represents the approved
appraisal of said parcel by the United States Bureau of Public
seoaas and the Arkansas State Highway jepartment. The full legal
aescription of each parcel and the approved appraisal thereof are
now, and shall hereafter remain, on file in the office of the
6teal :state D-epartraent of the City of Little .dock, Arkansas.
SECTIU 12. The parcels which the City 1,ianager is hereby
authorized to acquire and the approved appraisal and purchase
price thereof are as follows:

SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized to pay by warrant of the City of Little mock the
above purchase price for the respective parcels to the person or
persons entitled thereto according to the opinion of the City
Attorney so as to vest full legal title to the parcel in the City
of Little ;lock.

(J44,2001.00) 200.00) from the City of Little "vock Street Zight -of -way
Fund, Frolect 1- expressway, for the purposes set forth in the
above sections hereof.
`C'TIU � D. it is hereby found by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little .Rock that traffic conditions within the City
are congested and dangerous to the lives and property of its
citizens; that expressways are needed and that this ordinance is
necessary to provice for the immediate acquisition of right -of -way
for such purposes; and it is further found that the price established
for the parcels to be acquired is advantageous to the �;ity and that
the acquisition of saic parcels should be made immediately; now
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
being necessary for the preservation of the -public peace, health
and safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passaL,�e.
