ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING A PART OF A STREET
DESIGNATED CHOCTAW ROAD, BRIARWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 6th day of
August, 1965, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon
a part of a street designated Choctaw Road, Briarwood Addition to
the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition
now appearing of record in Plat Book 12 , Page 79 , in the office
of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
any public easements in said street, the part of said street to
be vacated and abandoned being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the NEt SEk, Section
21 T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence N 890
20' E along the North line of the said NEJ SE. for 40.0
feet to the East right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road;
thence S 2 08' E, along the East right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road for 105.65 feet; thence on a curve to
the left, with a radius of 25.0 feet, for an are distance
of 38.63 feet, sa4d are subtending a chord of 34.9 feet on
a bearing of S 46 241 E; thence N 89 201 E for 447.4 feet,
to the point of beginning; thence continuing N 890 20t E
144.5 feet to a point on the South line of Lot 440 of
BRIARWOOD as platted in Plat Book 12, Page 79, of the Pulaski
County Circuit Clerkzs Records; said point being �0.0 feet
East of the SW corner of said Lot 440; thence S 1 09' E 74.9
feet to a point on the West line of Ouachita Drive; thence
in a Northwesterly direction on a 25 foot radius curve to
the left for an are distance of 39.05 feet subtended by a
chord distance of 35.16 feet bearing N 450 541 W; thence
S 890 201 W 120.3 feet; thence in a Northerly direction 50.0
feet to the point of beginning containing 0.063 acres, more
or less, or 2750 sq. ft.
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the part of the street hereinbefore described,
has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street, as
herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally
for a period of at least five (5) years; that all of the owners
of the property abutting upon the street to be vacated have filed
with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandon-

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to that part of the street
designated Choctaw Road in Briarwood Addition, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the NEJ SEV, Section
21 T -1 -N2 R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, thence N 890
20' E along the North line of the said NE4 SEJ for 40.0
feet to the East right -o£ -way line of Rodney Parham Road;
thence S 20 08' E, along the East right -of -way line of
Rodney Parham Road for 105.65 feet; thence on a curve to
the left, with a radius of 25.0 feet, for an are distance
of 38.63 feet, sa4d are subtending a chord of 34.9 feet on
a bearing of S 46 241 E; thence N 890 20' E for 447.4 feet,
to the point of beginning; thence continuing N 890 20' E
144.5 feet to a point on the South line of Lot 440 of

subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
