AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ON-1 THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED TWENTY AND N0 1100 DOLLARS ($10420.00)
FROM.STREET,.RIGHr.-OF -WAY FUND..- „PROJECT Is
EXPRESSWAY,, POP, . RIGHT -OF -WAY .WITHIN . THE
EAST -TEST EEMSSWAY; PROVIDING_,FOR THE
PURCHASE. OF CERTAIN PARCELS .OF LAND;, AMENDING
DECLARING 11 -395” 11, 399, ,11,.404„ AND 11,435;
GENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, City Manager has been authorized and directed to
acquire certain parcels of land for use within the East -West Express-
way, which parcels are and have been identified by numbers and, more
specifically, numbers 132, 151, 1629 164, 154 and 158; and
WHEREAS, inadequate funds have been appropriated by prior
ordinances of this Board of Directors for the acquisition of said
tracts and there is required an additional appropriation of One
Thousand Four Hundred Twenty and No /100 Dollars ($1,420.00) thereto
to acquire certain tracts of land;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That part of Section 2 of Ordinance 11,395, which
reads:

SECTION 2. That part of Section 2 of Ordinance 11,399 which

SECTION 7. There is hereby appropriated the sum of One Thousand
Four Hundred Twenty and N91100 Dollars ($1,420.00) from the City of

Little Rock Street Right -of -tray Fund - Project I, Expressway, for
the purpose of providing sufficient funds in addition to those
provided in the Ordinances amended by Sections 2 through 6 of
this ordinance for the acquisition of the tracts of land d6scribed
herein.
SECTION So It is hereby found by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock that traffic conditions within the City
are congested and dangerous to the lives and property of its
citizens; that expressways are needed and that this ordinance is
necessary to provide for the immediate acquisition of right -af -way
for such purposes; and it is further found that the price established
for the parcels to be acquired is advantageous to the City and that
the acquisition of said parcels should be made immediately; now,
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
