ORDINANCE NO. 11,609
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ONE THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED NINETY -NINE AND 26/100
DOLLARS FROM UNEXPENDED BALANCE IN THE
STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY FUND TO PROJECT 39
(UNIVERSITY AVENUE) WITHIN SAID FUND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CERTAIN FEES
AND EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE ACQUISITION
OF RIGHT -OF -WAY FOR UNIVERSITY AVENUE;
AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE THEREOF; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition of certain
lands for use as right -of -way for University Avenue, it was
necessary to incur certain professional fees and expenses in
the nature of appraisal and engineering fees; and
WHEREAS, there are not adequate funds in the project
identified as Street Right -of -Way Fund - Project 39, University
Avenue, with which to pay said fees and expenses; and
WHEREAS, the fees and expenses incurred as aforesaid
aggregate One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety -Nine and 26/100
Dollars ($1,599.26);
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of
One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety -Nine and 26/100 Dollars
($1,599.26) from unexpended balance in the Street Right -of -Way
Fund to Project 39 (University Avenue) within said fund for the
purpose of paying professional fees and expenses incurred in
the acquisition of right -of -way for University Avenue.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary
warrant or warrants of this City, payable to such real estate
appraisers, engineers and any other parties whose assistance
was procurred by the City of Little Rock in connection with
the acquisition of right -of -way for University Avenue.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
