ORDINANCE NO. 11,605
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A CERTAIN PORTION OF A ROAD RUNNING SOUTH FROM
BROWNING ROAD LOCATED IN THE PROPOSED BROWNING
PLACE ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 14th day
of April , 1965, praying that the Board of Directors
vacate, abandon and close a certain portion of a street running
south from Browning Road in the proposed Browning Place Addition,
a subdivision of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, which is
described below; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the portion of the street which is described
below, has been dedicated to the public use as a street in the
manner herein described; that the petitioners will locate a
winding street generally in the same area; that public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of
the portion of said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Direc-
tors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the portion of
the street designated as follows:
"Part of the SWJ SWI Section 30, Township
1 North, Range 12 West beginning at a point
on the South line of Browning Road which is
965 feet North and 640 feet 8 inches West
of the Southeast corner of said SWI SWI;
thence South 915 feet to North line of a
50 foot road; thence West 50 feet; thence
North 915 feet to the South line of Brown-
ing Road; thence East 50 feet to the point
of beginning, except the North 200 feet
thereof."

Section 2. A copy of the ordinance duly certified by
the City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of Pulaski
County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
