AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
A RIBA NSA S , OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN
SE4 SE4, Section 33, TOWNSHIP TWO NORTH,
P
,,ANGE 13 WEST, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
SAID LANDS BEING THE SITE OF THE TERRY
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on August 21, 1964 upon the Petition of Little
Rock School District of Pulaski County, Arkansas, the sole
owner of the property affected, after due notice of hearing on
said Petition for the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
ordering the annexation of the following described lands
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
A tract of land in the SE-14 SE4, Section 33,
Township 2 North, Range 13 West, in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said
Section 33; thence North 87 degrees 45 minutes
West along the 'South line thereof, 1,000 feet
to a point; thence North 0 degrees 20 minutes
West 653 feet to a point;thence South 87
degrees 45 minutes East 1,000 feet to a point
on the East line of said Section 33; thence
South 0 degrees 20 minutes East along the East
line of said Section 33 to the point of begin-
ning, containing 15.00 acres
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any
proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or
elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants have
appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review, set
aside or appeal from said Order of the County Court; and

WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFO RE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTO Z.S
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the
incorporated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of
the lands described hereinabove in this Ordinance; and that said
lands be and are hereby assigned and attached to the Fifth Ward
of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that when two copies of
the entire proceedings of the Pulaski County Court concerning
this annexa tine. have been prepared and duly certified by the
Pulaski County Clerk, one copy of said proceedings shall be
delivered to and filed with the Secretary of State of the State
of Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas Statutes (1947) Section 19 -305.
