AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING THE
ALLEY SITUATED IN BLOCK 22, BELLEVUE ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a Petition was filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock on 22nd day of August 1966,
requesting the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon the alley
running east and west through Block 22, Bellevue Addition to the
City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question, found and
determined that the alley herein described has heretofore been
dedicated to the public use as an alley, and has not been actually
used by the public for more than five years prior to the filing of
said Petition; that the Petitioners own all of the property abutting
on the alley to be vacated and have filed their written consent to
such abandonment; and, that the public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the abandonment of said alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights together with the
rights of the public generally, except for the rights and needs of
public utilities for egress and ingress to maintain any existing
utilities, in and to the alley described as follows:
The alley which runs east and west
through Block 22, Bellevue Addition

to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
as designated on the plat of that said
addition now appearing of record in
Plat Record Book No. 1, Page 251, in
the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified by
the City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Record Book of
said county.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
