AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF PRYOR STREET IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 13th
day of June, 1966, asking the Board of Directors to vacate,
abandon and close a portion of Pryor Street in the City of
Little Rock, the same being more particularly described in
said Petition; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the Notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the portion of Pryor Street, hereinabove
referred to, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use
as a street; said street is no longer needed or required for
corporate purposes or for use by the general public and adjoin-
ing owners in that other streets are available and used for
these purposes; that said portion of Pryor Street has not been
actually used by the public as a street or alley for a period
of five years preceding the filing of the Petition; that
Petitioner is the equitable owner of the property abutting
immediately upon that portion of Pryor Street to be closed and
has filed with the Board of Directors its written consent to
the abandonment of such portion of said street; along with the
written consent to the abandonment of such portion of said
street of Faye J. Pryor, the record owner of property abutting

upon said portion of said street and the written consent of
all other owners of lands affected by the closing of said
portion of said street; and that the public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re-
leases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to a portion of Pryor
Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Start at the Northwest Corner of Lot 1 of West
Markham Street Subdivision; thence East 25 feet
to a point on the north line of said Lot 1;
thence South 320.6 feet to the point of beginning;
thence in a Southwesterly direction along the arc
of a 75 foot radius curve to the right a distance
of 62.2 feet to a point on the west line of Lot 1;
thence South along the west line of Lot 1, 25 feet
more or less to a point 400 feet South of the North-
west Corner of Lot 1; thence East 25 feet to a point;
thence 79.4 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the deed records of said
County.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
